People have often asked me, "Dave, when the hell am I going to see Loose Parts greeting cards?! I have people I love to whom I can only express my innermost feelings to by using odd jokes cleverly illustrated on pieces of folding cardboard."
Well, you're in luck. I've entered into an agreement with the fine folks at Nobleworks Greeting cards to produce a line of Loose Parts greeting cards. There are a dozen different cards or so available right now and more coming every quarter. These are really nice cards, too. Beautiful stock, glossy finish and more than the requisite amount of weirdness.
Best of all, you don't even have to leave your house to get them. And let's face it, if you were the type of person who left his for her house, you wouldn't be sending a greeting card in the first place. What's really cool, is Nobleworks ships every card free - even if you order just one. So you don't have to buy a bazillion; though if you do me love you long time.
If you want to go directly to the Dave Blazek page on the Nobleworks site, just click on the picture.
I'm also listed under the artist page listing along the left side of the home page if for some reason this doesn't work. There are pics of just a couple of cards appearing with this post. There are Birthday cards, Get Well cards, Happy Enagagement cards and even cards for Christmas and Halloween and other fine holidays.
And if you've read this far, here's an even bigger bonus. Email me at email@example.com before you buy and I'll hook you up with a discount code that'll knock some money off the price.
No get out there and start greeting people.

Okay, you're probably here because you like Loose Parts. But I do a lot of other cartoons for a lot of other people as well. I'll share a lot of that moving forwards. But let's start with something I've been doing for a few years now.
The good folks at a great travel company called Friendly Planet Travel wanted a new way to reach people and asked if I'd like to do a recurring travel-related cartoon. I started doing one every Friday and wondered how long I could keep coming up with travel jokes. Turns out, I can do it for years because now it's been over four years doing a travel cartoon once a week. It's really helped Friendly Planet get noticed all over the web. And it's really challenged me to keep coming up with new ideas. Especially since, they pick the topics. So one week, I'll have to do something about Iceland (like the toon you see in this post) the next it might be something about camel racing in Dubai, and the next about moving sidewalks in airports. It's really helped me keep my chops up, been lots of fun, and has really aided the client.
If you'd like to follow along, just go every friday to FriendlyPlanetTravel.com, click on their blog and look for Friday Funny.
And if you'd like me to do something like that for your company or organization, just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I do have med school tuition to pay for my daughter after all.
